Invictus actress Adjoa Andoh is encouraging people to share their blessings by getting behind Christian Aid's 2010 Lent campaign.

Andoh plays Nelson Mandela’s chief of staff Brenda Mazibuko alongside Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.

The Count Your Blessings campaign runs from 16 February until 4 April and is based around seven themes - the next meal, a decent living, living water, tomorrow’s child, our changing climate, rights and justice and life in the Holy Land.

Andoh has recorded seven audio reflections for Premier Christian Radio, to air in the six weeks leading up to Easter and during Holy Week.

“Perhaps this Lent instead of giving something up, we can be inspired by the Count Your Blessings campaign to share our blessings, by giving to some of the inspirational work being done around the world," she said.

Christian Aid has produced downloadable resources for Lent, including a film, prayers and a calendar.
