Shopkins have become a fad ever since maker Moose Toys released the first lineup of the cute figures of everyday objects. Already on its fourth season, earlier reports said that the upcoming lineup will reach North American shores next month.

However, some observers have recently claimed that there is already a limited release of season 4 in the U.S., and that Moose Toys has already confirmed a December release.

According to Crossmap, some retailers like Kohls, Target, and Walmart have already made public their season 4 Shopkins figures. In addition, the industry follower also said that some shoppers at select Toys 'R' Us stores have also claimed to have already seen the new lineup on shelves.

The industry follower also published a list of stores and locations where the upcoming season 4 lineup will become available. Meanwhile, although there is no list of the Shopkins themselves, Crossmap added that Moose Toys will be including a new item in season 4 – pet crates. Apparently, the pet crates will be different from the previous shopping baskets in seasons 2 and 3, since the pet crates will be stackable and will be collectibles themselves.

ToyzToy reported that the lineup of Shopkins season 4 will include Petkins, a special edition group for the new season. Reportedly, these will be what the pet crates are for, and the Petkins themselves will not be full representations of pets but rather a mix of everyday grocery items and animals.

The industry follower also seemed to confirm the December release date for season 4, as the report quoted Moose Toys as coming out with a statement: "At this stage we have not been provided a firm date for the launch of Shopkins Season 4. The earliest it could be at retailers is late December but will differ from country to country."
