The Pied Piper team must find other sources of funding on the upcoming premiere of "Silicon Valley" season 4.

Titled "Success Failure," next week's season opener will see the gang work on their latest project. According to the official synopsis, the guys figure out how to keep up with their fast-growing user base after the Pied Piper click farm scandal rocked the company. Their next move will be finding a source of funding for Pied Piper's video-chat app. However, the group quickly realizes that raising money for their app is not as easy as it seems.

Struggling with the adjustments in the company, Richard (Thomas Middleditch) gets advice on what he should do next from an unexpected source. It eventually leads him to a huge idea that could greatly change his future. Gavin (Matt Ross) balks when he crosses paths with Jack (Stephen Tobolowsky), while Erlich (T.J. Miller) deals with resistance from Big Head's (Josh Brener) father (Patrick O'Connor).

Season 4 picks up with Richard choosing to leave the company he founded to dedicate his time and effort on a grand new project: developing a new internet. Pied Piper became a video chat company last season but despite its success, the major change made Richard lose interest in their project.

Richard will take the Piep Piper name and his own algorithm to build a decentralized internet that only runs on cell phones. While the other guys did not have any issues with his decision, the new project means Richard will be leaving behind his close friend Jared (Zach Woods), who always supported his ideas even at times when no one else believed in him.

"This is cause for some conflict," Middleditch told TV Guide. "If Jared starts to feel that Richard is not Richard anymore, that would be devastating to the poor man."

The fourth season of "Silicon Valley" will premiere on Sunday, April 23, at 10 p.m. EDT on HBO.
