The iconic British reality television judge, Simon Cowell, has been hospitalized recently. Many of his fans were worried about his overall health after Cowell was rushed in the hospital last Friday due to fainting and falling down a flight of stairs. He is now resting comfortably in the confines of his home in London.

In a report by Deadline, Cowell was seen being assisted by paramedics out of his house, wherein he was wearing a neck brace due to his fall. Fortunately, he is now in a stable condition, and has been given the green light by his doctors to go home. The timing of the incident was rather unfortunate, since the reality television competition "X-Factor" was scheduled to have its first live show the following day.

Cowell is a very lucky individual despite his fall, since the medical emergency did not even affect the show's schedule. According to Vanity Fair, Cowell had woken up in the dead of night due to feeling nauseated and ill, which prompted him to go downstairs to get himself a cup of warm milk to alleviate his condition. However, as he was about to return to his room upstairs, he suddenly passed out and fell down the stairs.

At this point, it is still unclear when Cowell will be all set to return to his judging commitments for "X-Factor." It appears that there is no chance of him appearing at all in the meantime. However, an official decision has yet to be made. So, it is safe to assume that Cowell's health is simply being monitored in order to ascertain whether he will be fit to appear on the live performance of the show.

This is not the first time that the former "American Idol" judge has experienced this kind of condition. According to The Daily Mail, Cowell had told his close friends that his job has caused him to experience "nervous exhaustion" from time to time, which is due to the stressful nature of his job and the constant travel.
