'Sister Wives' season 6 spoilers: Meri Barber might not be leaving

It has long been speculated that Meri would be leaving "Sister Wives" after she and Kody got divorced so that the latter could marry Robyn and legally take custody of her kids. Her daughter Mariah left for college and she previously expressed intentions of pursuing her own studies. However, according to the Master Herald, she might stick around for season 6.

The report points out that the decision to divorce Kody wasn't because of internal problems or of any argument between the two. After all, they were legally married for 25 years. As it was revealed in the series, Meri divorced Kody to give Robyn and her children a chance and that the decision was made out of love.

According to the report, one of the biggest indications that Meri is acting selflessly for the benefit of others was her recent post on Twitter that reads: "Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business, and in fact, it is nobody's business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbours worthy if anything can."

As of the time of writing, she is still spiritually married to Kody and she may remain in her house as Kody decides to live in with Robyn and her children, allowing the dynamics of their polygamous lovelife to continue as if there was no difference except that now, Kody is legally married to Robyn instead of Meri, Janelle or Christine.

However, taking custody of Robyn's children may be a bit more difficult than presumed. As reported by the Venture Capital Post, Robyn's ex-husband might also have a say against the situation and may start a legal battle to keep the children. This might be the focal point of season 6.

"Sister Wives" season 6 premieres this fall.
