Things have been going well for Robyn and Kody, who was recently declared the legal guardian of the former's kids in her previous relationship, but not so much for Meri, who reveals to her family in the next "Sister Wives" season 6 episode that she has been "catfished."

Meri decides to open up to her family about how she engaged in an online relationship with a woman she did not know was only masquerading as a man. The deceit stressed and hurt her as it was done by a person she confided to "during an emotional and vulnerable time," as she revealed to People.

However, as she confesses in the "Sister Wives" season 6 trailer, even opening up to her family is not easy feat. "It's never easy when I feel like I need to talk to the family, and when there's something I need to bring up," Meri says.

She adds that "they have no idea how bad it is. They don't know what I got into."

In her interview with People, she expressed regret in getting herself in such painful situation but getting the word out about how real "catfishing" is makes her feel she can help keep others from falling victim.

Meanwhile, as Meri goes through the trouble, the next episode of "Sister Wives" season 6 will reveal the gender of Kody and Robyn's second baby and the Brown family's 18th kid. Initially believed to be carrying twins, Robyn knew in the previous installment there's just one baby they will welcome.

The Brown family is also going on a trip to Alaska. Everybody will be there, even Logan's girlfriend. It is during this jaunt that Meri will reveal her problem, easily taking things to an emotional turn.

"Sister Wives" season 6 airs a new episode Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
