In a matter of days, the Brown family will be back on the small screen for a new season of "Sister Wives." TLC is extending the polygamist family's screen time this time around.

Kody Brown and his wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn will be back on May 8. Below is the description of the "Sister Wives" season 7 by TLC:

Just like any other family, the Brown family has had their share of ups and downs -- and the upcoming season will have no shortage of both. From wedding bells and births, to mother-daughter struggles and intense therapy sessions -- the two-hour weekly episodes will take you along for a ride on Brown family's emotional rollercoaster.

The promo released for the return of "Sister Wives" shows that the new season will put greater focus on Robyn's pregnancy and birth of her and Kody's second child.

There will be more baby talks in the new season with Janelle and Kody's daughter Maddie also pregnant. Meri will also be a central part of the "Sister Wives" season 7.

The premiere of the new season is titled "Catfishing Fallout," which refers to the scandal she was involved with after she engaged in an online relationship with a woman who pretended to be a man.

In the "Sister Wives" season 7 promo, Meri opens up to her family and confesses her anger towards Kody, who, in turn, admitted he and his former legal wife were struggling. The other wives were also there to help Meri.

Instead of dwelling to the past, this episode will be more about Meri's healing process. As she rebuilds her life after the ordeal, she will also have to restore her relationship with her daughter Mariah. In the clip, Mariah admits that she and her mom are "not on super-great terms" at the moment.

"Sister Wives" season 7 premieres May 8 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
