Things are not fine and dandy at the Brown residence as rumours surround the cast of "Sister Wives." The previous season focused heavily on Kody's growing relationship with Robyn and his eventual marriage to her. Kody divorced his then-legal wife, Meri, for Robyn, but remained spiritually married to the former.

The series has been renewed for a seventh season and all rumours point towards highlighting more of the same thing: Kody and Robyn's relationship. It was previously reported that the show's fans were not pleased with the change in direction, with some even threatening to boycott the reality show.

Since the series is primarily about Kody's relationships with Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, it wouldn't make sense to just focus on one sister wife. Kody also adopted Robyn's three children and the couple have their first baby on the way.

Now, rumour has it that Kody's three other wives are looking for a way out. Reports are claiming that Meri, Christine and Janelle are thinking about leaving Kody.

Radar Online recently reported on the girls' impending departure. A source told the publication, "This family has been torn apart. Meri will certainly walk away."

Janelle, on the other hand, has considered leaving Kody for a long time. "They weren't in love when they met and got married," the source said.

Last season was certainly very emotional for the family. Meri had an online affair that turned sour (the man she was chatting with was revealed to be a woman) and Christine has already voiced her jealousy over Kody's favouritism. After such a tumultuous season, it wouldn't be surprising if the ladies choose to leave.

But things aren't looking as bad for Kody because rumour has it that he's looking to add another sister wife to the family—someone significantly younger than him. The same publication noted that his fifth wife will be a teenager.

"Sister Wives" season 7 will premiere in early 2016.
