"Sister Wives" is yet to be renewed for season 8, and rumors are starting to spread that TLC is going to cancel the show given how Kody Brown wants to add one or two more wives. He already has four, and now, reports are stating that they are threatening to leave if he does indeed get another wife.

According to a report from Life and Style Magazine, family friend Kendra Pollard has confirmed that three of Kody's wives are threatening to leave the show, and one of them is his current legal wife, Robyn, who is stated to be filing for divorce.

The cover for the magazine showcases that Robyn and Kody may be getting a divorce if he persists with getting a younger, thinner wife just to raise the viewership ratings and keep the show going. The report also points out that two other wives are leaving and that one of the wives is already dating someone else.

"Kody is really, really sweating losing the show and he's doing everything he can to keep it," Pollard explained in the interview, further implying that the show would be cancelled if the girls all leave since Kody wasn't popular enough to become the main focus of a new series.

The wives, on the other hand, have always been popular with the viewers, and they may even be able to start a spin-off of their own focusing entirely on their lives, their new husbands, and their children. This will be similar to how "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled, but a spin-off titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting" was eventually launched.

It is important to note that TLC has yet to make any official comment on whether the studios would be cancelling "Sister Wives" to focus entirely on the wives instead of Kody Brown. As of writing, the series is still in its sixth season, and the official season's ratings is yet to be released for the studio to even consider cancelling or renewing the show.
