'Sister Wives' stars share Christmas preparations

Spending the Christmas holidays together is very important to close-knit families like the Browns, which is why Kody and his wives from TLC's "Sister Wives" are already prepping for the upcoming special event based on their social media accounts.

Kody's first and former legal wife Meri posted a photo of her Christmas tree through her Twitter account.

Meri's tree has several ornaments that bear the names of her family members, including Kody's and their only child Mariah.

Meanwhile, second wife Janelle also showed a photo of her own Christmas ornaments at home.

In Janelle's post, the Christmas stockings are already neatly hanging by the chimney. A total of 10 stocking are hanging by the fireplace, one each for her, Kody and their kids Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savannah, as well as Madison's fiancé Caleb and another child's other half. Their family dog also has its own Christmas stockings.

Meanwhile, the fourth and only legal wife, Robyn, posted a video of her patio at home on TLC's website. The video shows Robyn's large picnic tables that she arranged for her large family's gatherings.

"We really wanted a place for the whole family to be able to eat and hang out together," Robyn shares in the video.

Robyn is currently waiting for the arrival of her and Kody's new baby girl. The child will be the couple's second offspring after the birth of Solomon in October 2011. But Kody already considers Robyn's older children from a previous relationship as his own after adopting them in June this year.

Kody Brown's family became controversial after TLC featured their polygamous setting at home. Kody is spiritually married to Meri, Janelle and Christine, while he is legally married Robyn to be able to adopt her kids.

The network already announced that the "Sister Wives" will return for the show's seventh season in 2016.
