Sony Xperia M Ultra rumors: 6-inch display screen and dual-camera setup

Sony is said to be creating a phablet with a massive 6-inch display, which will be called Xperia M Ultra. It will reportedly have a 23 MP dual main camera and a 16 MP selfie camera.

The latest rumors regarding the Japanese tech giant came from China, through a post on Weibo. According PhoneRadar, the phone is also being rumored to be called Xperia M6 and is a perfect phone for those into photography.

The phone is said to have a 23 MP Dual-Camera for its primary shooter that features a 24mm and 75mm with f/2.2 aperture OSS (optical steady shot) lenses. The selfie camera, meanwhile, will be a 16 MP that features a 25mm/f2 OSS lens. This phone will be an addition to the steady stream of dual-wielding main cameras that has started to arrive recently. The number of devices with higher quality front-facing camera phones has also been increasing.

The 6-inch smartphone is also said to house a 4,280 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 capability and a USB Type-C, a must-have for a battery capacity this big. Another standard feature nowadays is the fingerprint scanner, which is also said to be coming with the phone.

The rumored Sony Xperia M Ultra or M6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor paired with a 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM. A 32 GB internal storage will also come along.

Another striking feature of the highly speculated phone is its large display screen, a 6-incher said to be offering FullHD resolution, plus, IPS-Neo, 120Hz, WhiteMagic, TRILUMINOS. Furthermore, it will be featuring a very thin bezel on its sides.

No other information is available at the moment.

GSMArena added, that Sony is also working on the successor for its Xperia C5 Ultra and is said to be ready for launching, said to be Xperia C6 Ultra.

Accordingly, these are just rumors and no official word from Sony has arrived yet to confirm these specifications.
