Those who are still mulling over the decision of whether or not to buy the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact can stop having second thoughts. They can head to eBay where the device is being offered for a discounted price of $469. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact was originally released with a $529.99 price tag without a contract. 

The device is being offered by a seller with handle imbolephonex, who has a 99.7 percent positive feedback rating. 

The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is the miniature version of Sony's current flagship smartphone – the Xperia Z3.  It has lower grade specs and features, but is nonetheless a very decent device to have. For starters, the smartphone has a 4.6-inch screen display with 720p resolution. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz paired with Adreno 330 graphics chipset and 2 GB of RAM, and a 16 GB storage with a microSD slot that supports up to 128 GB of additional storage.

Surprisingly, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact comes with a powerful 20.7-megapixel back camera and a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition, it features a battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, and an IP68 certification that indicates that the handset is dustproof and water resistant. 

Some people think that this new discount for the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact signals the upcoming release of its successor. According to rumors, Sony will release the Xperia Z4 Compact and Xperia Z4 Ultra alongside the flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z4. The Xperia Z4 Compact will reportedly have a 4.7-inch screen display with 1080p full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage with microSD slot.

Meanwhile, the Xperia Z4 is rumored to feature a 5.4-inch quad HD Triluminos display, a Snapdragon 805 or 810 processor paired with 4 GB RAM, the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, Sony's new 21-megapixel Exmor IMX230 camera sensor and 3.2-megapixel front-facing shooter, and 3300 mAh battery.

The Sony Xperia Z4 and Z4 Compact are rumored to be released at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress 2015, although the company has not yet confirmed this.
