In the last Mobile World Congress, many became curious as to why Sony did not unveil the Sony Xperia Z4. On hand was the unveiling of the Sony Xperia Z4 tablet which is set to be launched officially this coming June.

As far as smartphone users are concerned, most are more interested on when the Sony Xperia Z4 would be launched. And if rumors hold true, the said Sony handset could be out by the Summer or September, 2015.

If this should be the case, then perhaps Sony purposely held back the device due to one reason or another. This in turn would give them ample time to make last-minute checks on the anticipated smartphone and if the September release is true then consumers could expect it to come at the IFA 2015. The event will be held from September 4 to 9 in Berlin.

For those who are still unaware of what the Sony Xperia Z4 carries, the said device is a 5.5.-inch phablet which will boast of a Quad HD display (2560x1440 pixels).

It will be powered by a 2.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM while also carrying 32GB of internal storage. If that should not be enough, users can opt to make use of the expandable microSD slot for more space.

Moreover, it will have a 20.7 MP back camera and will feature a dedicated amp which means better audio listening for people who use their phones to listen to their favorite tunes.

The Sony Xperia Z4 will make use of the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and will rely on a 2000 mAh battery for its power needs.

With regards to pricing, the Sony Xperia Z4 will reportedly retail for about $630 off contract.
