Soul Calibur VI trailer shows return of Talim, Last Priestess of the Winds

Talim in Soul Calibur VI(Bandai Namco)

The latest teaser trailer for the hotly anticipated Soul Calibur VI has dropped and it shows that one of the popular characters on the previous rosters, Talim, is making her return.

Fans of the franchise have loved Talim, Last Priestess of the Winds, ever since she made her debut back in Soul Calibur 2, which is already an unbelievable 15 years ago.

We did see her more recently than that in Soul Calibur 3 and then again in Soul Calibur 4 but she was missing from Soul Calibur 5.

When she comes back to the game, she will fight with her dual elbow blades, Syi Sarika and Loka Luha as she tries to protect the world from the Soul Edge.

The character reveal trailer, which you can check out here, shows her using these blades to really good effect against her enemies Ivy, Taki, and Zasalamel.

Given her popularity, we feel sure that fans will be happy to see her back again for Soul Calibur 6 when it releases in October.

And she isn't the only much loved character making a return to the next installment, as fan favorites Maxi and Yoshimitsu have also been confirmed by Bandai Namco.

It's exciting that these guys are returning but there is another reason to feel excited about the character roster for the next installment of Soul Calibur because it also includes The Witcher character Geralt of Rivia as a guest addition. A recent character reveal trailer for him showed him using his weapons from The Witcher series, but not his magical abilities, as he takes on Taki.

It will be cool to see the full roster and all of their capabilities when Soul Calibur 6 comes out later in the fall.  The game is due for release on October 19 and will be made available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
