There is great news for fans of the all-girls group, Spice Girls, who was known for their songs "2 Become 1," "Wannabe," and "Holler." The girls will reportedly reunite for an epic comeback in 2018.

The long-awaited reunion of the band was revealed by sources to The Sun, who said that the talks had been ongoing since summer but was only given a go-signal after Victoria Beckham, known as Posh Spice in the group, had agreed.

"And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion," the insider said. The camp of the 43-year-old wife of David Beckham denounced the rumors and said that the businesswoman had always loved her group but clarified that Victoria was busy attending to family and business duties.

The source also divulged that the comeback was looking at TV specials and an album. The group is allegedly getting back together largely to help one of the members, Mel B, who was known as Scary Spice, as she has been having a hard time following her divorce with Stephan Belafonte.

The group's awaited reunion is also supposedly caused by Geri's (Ginger Spice) birth. The source narrated that the talks early this year started off coldly, but discussions loosened up because of Geri and Mel B's circumstances. Geri was also the one who hinted at a possible reunion of the group in October.

But, the news should be taken with a grain of salt as the source announced that plans were "still in the early stages" and that each member has their own schedule to consider.

Other members of the iconic group are Emma (Baby Spice) and Mel C (Sporty Spice). The group was formed in 1994 and was managed by Simon Fuller, who will reportedly handle the group as well in their comeback.
