Everyone's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back for a sixth live-action film set for this year, titled "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Directed by Jon Watts, the film will feature the superhero (Tom Holland) struggling to balance his life as a normal high school teenager and an extraordinary web-wielding superhero.

The film is set to continue the storyline introduced in "Captain America: Civil War" when he was recruited on the side of Iron Man, who was portrayed by the much-loved Robert Downey Jr., during the fight to oppose the decisions of Captain America, who was played by Chris Evans. The film will feature "K.C. Undercover" actress Zendaya and "Crazy, Stupid, Love" actress Marisa Tomei.

Since the announcement of the film's production, fans have speculated on Zendaya's character, especially when the trailers revealed nothing substantial about who she might be in the film. Fans hypothesized that she might play Spider-Man's big love, Mary Jane Watson and that her character named Michelle is only a cover up for the bigger picture.

Zendaya finally answered these questions in an interview with MTV.

"My character is 100 percent Michelle. That's her name. I promise you I'm not lying... She's like my spirit animal. [She's] how I feel inside," said Zendaya.

She described Michelle as weird and quirky and as someone who has impeccable timing in saying the strangest things at the most peculiar moments.

According to Box Office Pro, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is expected to garner $135 million upon opening. The analysis looked at Spider-Man's introduction in "Captain America: Civil War" and how it could possibly affect the profits received by the production.

IGN India also revealed a little about Michael Keaton's character — "Spider-Man: Homecoming" villain, Adrian Toomes, more commonly known as Vulture. The character is equipped with a high-end flight suit that allows him to compete with Spider-Man's flexibility and agility. Like some of the villains in Spider-Man's storyline, the Vulture is one of those old men who does the wrong things in order to cope with the feeling that the world cheated him.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will premiere in theaters on July 7.
