The upcoming Marvel film featuring the teenager Peter Parker – played by Tom Holland – is already under wraps. Holland's leading lady in the film will be the Disney Channel star Zendaya, who will portray Mary Jane Watson.

Holland previously posted on his Instagram account, "Our last day on @spidermanhomecoming and this how we are feeling but we got this," along with the photo of the whole crew knocked out and sleeping.

Production and filming was first set in Atlanta, but the cast and crew flew over to Queens in New York to finish wrapping "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Holland shared in his post last week that he instantly felt at home in his character's hometown.

In the upcoming Marvel movie, Peter will be a sophomore in high school who will try to balance his newly acquired superhero life while also juggling home and school at the same time. He currently lives in an apartment in Queens with his youthful Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), as was shown in "Captain America: Civil War." Unlike the previous "Spider-Man" films, Uncle Ben will already have died in the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" timeline.

According to Cinema Blend, Peter is a technology junkie. He likes collecting and recreating old technology, which he will use to help him advance his spider abilities.

A big portion of the film is set in Midtown High School where Parker goes to school. Given the title "Homecoming," it is expected that Parker will be in a conflict involving their school dance. This is where he meets Mary Jane, who will played by Zendaya, according to The Wrap.

Although Zendaya's character is named Michelle, it is common for superhero movies to give their characters misleading pseudonyms to avoid any leaks about the film. Also, a recent draft of Michelle's role in the upcoming film gives several clues about  Mary Jane's identity.

Zendaya is the star of Disney Channel's "Shake it Up!" and "K.C. Undercover."

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" premieres on July 7, 2017.
