Now that Spidey's finally swinging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he truly belongs, the next dilemma to deal with is how Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will stage the crime-fighter's homecoming.

The actor to replace Andrew Garfield is yet to be named but that's not what's causing all the buzz. It's the character behind the mask. It's the web-slinger's alter ego that the still unnamed actor will play that's causing all the pandemonium. Will Peter Parker's story be retold or continued? Or will Miles Morales take the fort this time? The debate is so intense that it can go on forever.

Ultimately, the two movie giants have already revealed during the announcement of their collaboration that Peter Parker's story will be the main focus of the upcoming reboot and appearances of the red and blue-clad superhero.

Miles Morales is a black Hispanic and a younger iteration of the web-slinger who took on Spider-Man's superhero responsibilities after Peter Parker's death in the Ultimate Comics storyline. He first appeared in the comics in 2011. Jeff Sneider from The Wrap confidently declared in Meet The Movie Press podcast, "95 percent" sure to be exact, that Miles Morales could "pick up the mantle" soon.

If Miles Morales will indeed be the Spider-Man to crash the cinemas in the years to come, his appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" can be taken cared of by having Peter Parker die in the said film, Design & Trend suggested. Spider-Man was set to appear in the third "Captain America" film before he takes on the action on his own movie.

At the end of the day, it will be interesting to see if Marvel and Sony will go for the hero with a different ethnicity. But if ever the next "Spider-Man" films will feature Peter Parker with a new face, fans hope that his story will move forward from the original narrative that is always brought to the silver screen.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be out on May 6, 2016 while the "Spider-Man" film will be released on July 28, 2017.
