'Splatoon 2' Squid sisters tale reveals Marie's troubles in chapter 2
Nintendo has just released the second chapter of the "Splatoon 2" Squid Sisters' tale on its official website and it is definitely better than the first one. In this new chapter, the third-person shooter game's beloved sisters still find themselves very busy with their own commitments. Marie, who has more alone time than ever before, gets some ideas that might jeopardize her relationship with Callie. What will happen to the idols now?
As shown in the last chapter of "Splatoon 2" Squid sisters' story, the Inkopolis' famous idolsare growing apart. After the final Splatfest, the two sisters found themselves with more fans than ever before. People from different places kept asking the sisters for guest appearances or a performance. The popularity made the sisters very busy, so much that they were not able to meet often.
Callie, being the outgoing one, was often asked to appear in variety shows. Her filming would start in the early morning and continue until late in the evening. In many occasions, she would not even have a chance to go home. Just like her, Marie found herself a lot of responsibilities as well. After her amazing performance of the song "Tide Goes Out," she was being offered a lot of concerts on her own. This made her very busy from morning to evening, not even getting a chance to see her own sister.
The two used to be together all the time but are now finding themselves in separate ways.
Now, in chapter 2, Marie finds herself alone with her thoughts. She thinks about her sister Callie, about what she really thought after she won the final Splatfest. She wonders, does her sister feel any jealousy toward her? Is Callie just holding back and not sharing her feelings?
The chapter ends with Marie feeling bad about herself, thinking that her newfound popularity might be the reason why she's been having some sort of a superiority complex.

"Splatoon 2" is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch on July 21.
