Sprint customers may have heard of the great news, but those who haven't, it's time to check the emails in their inbox. Sprint is striving to keep customers on their boat with an irresistible loyalty program that is difficult to refuse. The U.S. carrier is all-out in thanking its loyal customers by giving them a huge price cut on Samsung and Apple's latest handset offerings. Sprint no longer requires a down payment from its customers who wish to get a Samsung Galaxy S5 or a 16 GB iPhone 6. Instead, they just have to pay off their chosen handset for $5 each month for two years.

The 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S5 was released in April. Since the rollout of Apple's first full-sized iPhone 6 in October, the two were head to head in the smartphone showground and they quickly became crowd favorites. The availability and affordability of the premium phones promised in Sprint is golden and is especially not be forgone. Customers who nod to the promotion will get to save $15 a month, as the carrier's regular deal for the devices is $20 per month. That amounts to a huge $360 savings.

It gets better for those who wish to add a new line. Customers can avail of the 12-month free unlimited talk, messaging and data just by paying off the remainder of the current month. Lastly, Sprint is slashing $20 off on select handset accessories.

Tech Times relives the time when Apple made iPhones exclusive to AT&T. The carrier snatched customers from Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile who want to get their hands on the tech titan's handset feats. By 2007, the tie-up finally ended, which then gave way to the carriers' equal access to iPhones. At the moment, the competition among the carriers is not fading, and with this Sprint's wonderful offer, the carrier is bound to propel to new heights, leaving its competitors near the ground.
