St Louis Rams vs Seattle Seahawks live stream (Fox TV schedule): Watch NFL 2015 football online (Preview)

The St Louis Rams will play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in a late afternoon kick off in Week 16 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The Seahawks have successfully turned their season around after a lackluster start and they now look like one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL heading towards the Playoffs. The game has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and takes place from CenturyLink Field in Seattle. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Seahawks started their season with a loss to the Rams, but they have recovered well and have already secured a Wild Card spot in the NFC.

However, despite already guaranteeing themselves postseason football, the Seahawks are unlikely to let up now. They come into today's game searching for their sixth straight win, and they know better than most how important momentum is heading into the Playoffs, where there is no room for mistakes or a bad day.

At the start of the season the Seahawks lost 34-31 in overtime to the Rams, and that sparked off a tough opening few months for Seattle. Many times it looked like they could miss out on the Playoffs entirely, and when they fell to 2-4 some pundits had turned against them.

But they have since gone on to win seven of their last eight, to leave them on 9-5 and preparing for a fourth straight postseason appearance.

Coach Pete Carroll has said, "I think you have to stay with what you know and stay the course and make it work out for you. That doesn't mean you don't adapt. You're always adjusting and adapting. But the main themes that you live by, you need to stay true to it."

Earlier this week on Saturday night, the NFC East division was all but concluded, with the Washington Redskins defeating the Philadelphia Eagles to confirm themselves as division champions.

The Redskins clinched the division title, and with it a postseason spot, with a comfortable 38-24 win. Their appearance in the Playoffs this season will be their first since the 2012 season, and comes as a surprise as not many had predicted the Redskins would take the NFC East at the start of the season.

The result means the 8-7 Redskins will play a home Playoff game against the No. 5 seeded team in the NFC. At the moment that would mean a match up against the Seattle Seahawks, which would be a massive challenge as they have made huge strides in the second half of the season and at the moment look like one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

If the results in the coming few weeks shake things up more though, then the Redskins could get a game against the 9-5 Minnesota Vikings, which is another daunting prospect for Washington. However, at the moment the Redskins may just want to enjoy the fact that they're back in the postseason and whoever it turns out they face, what will be will be.

Kirk Cousins has been one of the core reasons the Redskins have managed to surprise people this season, and he has played above everyone's expectations. On Saturday night he completed 31 of 46 throws for 365 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

At the start of the season, the Redskins suffered poor form through their opening six games. During that period, Kirk Cousins threw eight interceptions, where as in the nine games since he threw just three.

They will need the new improved Kirk Cousins if they are to make an impact in the Playoffs.
