The space opera inspired video game "Star Wars Battlefront 2," developed by Electronic Arts Dice will be released in November. However, the developers have granted players a test run through a beta test, which has recently been reported to be extended. This may be exciting news for those who have been highly anticipating the game. In addition, it will give developers more time to gather information on how to better improve the game before its release.

In a report by Gamespot, the beta test for "Star Wars Battlefront 2" has been extended to Oct. 11, Wednesday. There are no reports from Electronic Arts to explain the main reason behind their decision to extend the beta testing, but it is safe to say that fans would not mind it at all. The additional two days will definitely allow more players to formulate much needed feedback for developers.

It would appear that there is no further incentive for those who have already had their fill experiencing the beta test to play, however. This is due to the fact that no additional new content will be made available, so players will still have to wait for the November release to be able to play the full version of the game – if they have already grown tired of the beta test.

According to Express UK, there are no other reasons for Electronic Arts to extend the beta, but for data gathering purposes in terms of the game's technical execution. The beta consumes about 22 GB of space for the PC, around 15 GB on the PlayStation 4, and an estimated 13.2 GB for the Xbox One, which is not so bad since the contents of the beta test are significant for what it is. Players get to experience the Galactic Assault Mode which is set on Naboo.

"Star Wars Battlefront 2" is scheduled for release on Nov. 17 for the PS4, the Xbox One, and the PC.
