Players of the first game, "Star Wars Battlefront," can now anticipate a single-player mode to be released on "Star Wars Battlefront II."

One of the complaints in the first game released was that it lacked a single-player campaign. A recent trailer that was leaked prior to its release showed a single-player mode for "Star Wars Battlefront II."

The single-player campaign will feature a character from the elite Inferno Squadron, Iden. According to Motive Studios game director Mark Thompson, the story of "Star Wars Battlefront II" will take place between "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens," which has a 30-year gap in between them. The character in the campaign will be on a mission for revenge for her fallen Emperor as she sees the second Death Star explode.

Despite having a single-player campaign, the sequel will still have a multiplayer option that was found in the first game. Players of "Star Wars Battlefront II" can look forward to having the multiplayer campaign take place in all of the locations included in the "Star Wars" franchise, instead of having it only in places that were featured in the original trilogy, like in the first "Battlefront."

Players will have the option of playing with certain favorite characters, like Darth Maul, Rey and Kylo Ren. These characters will also have the option to be upgraded as players of the game level up.

Players will be able to get a feel of "Star Wars Battlefront II" at a public event, EA Play 2017, scheduled from June 10 to 12. The event takes place just before the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), happening from June 13 to 15.

"Star Wars Battlefront II" is produced by EA DICE, Motive Studios and Criterion Games, and will be released this fall on Friday, Nov. 17. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
