The third expansion pack for "Star Wars Battlefront" is currently underway, and gamers are expecting to see the "Death Star" expansion pack sometime this month.

The new downloadable content will feature the debut of the Death Star space station in EA Dice's 2015-released action shooter video game.

Game N Guide reports that the game developer is currently working on in the last stages of the DLC's development. This means that the new chapter of the game is almost ready to come out on the market in the coming days.

In August, EA revealed during the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany that the new DLC will feature three phases that come with different objectives.

According to the game's official blog, players will fly using the X-wings and A-wings in Phase 1 to face the TIE fighters and TIE interceptors. In this phase, the Rebel players must defeat the TIE fighters before their Y-wing supporters appear to deteriorate the defenses of the Star Destroyer.

In Phase 2, the players will engage in fights located inside the legendary space station based on the classic "Star Wars" trilogy. The players must extract a droid located inside the Death Star space station by playing the role of Bossk or Chewbacca.

At the end of the upcoming expansion pack, the players will be transported back into space since they have to blow up the Death Star to finish the battle. However, they have to avoid Darth Vader since he is tasked to take care of the asset of the Empire using his TIE Advanced.

While the release date for "Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star" is still unrevealed, those who managed to purchase the "Star Wars Battlefront" season pass will be able to get the expansion pack two weeks earlier.

"Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star" will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the coming days.
