'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC news: Lando Calrissian makes his entrance in Bespin DLC

Lando Calrissian arrives in "Star Wars Battlefront" via the Bespin DLC forEA DICE

The next "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC will bring Lando Calrissian to the fold. The Bespin DLC, which will be released in June, takes "Star Wars" fans in and out of Cloud City, with four new maps based on the floating Tibanna gas mining colony.

Apart from the iconic character Lando Calrissian, "Star Wars Battlefront" players will also be able to take the role of ruthless bounty hunter Dengar, who sounds like the perfect combatant for players who are all for destruction and enormous firepower.

"You'll see AT-ATs in Cloud City, take to the skies in Fighter Squadron, and even spend time in a carbonite chamber," EA DICE describes the "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC on its blog.

Lando Calrissian and Dengar become the third and fourth playable characters added to "Star Wars Battlefront" post-launch. There will be more courtesy of the fourth expansion pack EA DICE is not ready to talk about yet.

It promised, however, that details about new heroes will be revealed this summer. These eight heroes, on the other hand, will all be included in the "Star Wars Battlefront" season pass, counting Greedo and Niem Nunb from the Outer Rim DLC.

As for those who just can't get enough of "Star Wars Battlefront," EA DICE promises that there will be a lot of content to go around in the months to come, especially on Star Wars Day on May 4.

"We also have a couple of surprises in store that we know our fans have been looking for, especially those who have been clamoring for ways to have more options to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline. More to come soon," EA DICE promised.

The "Star Wars Battlefront" Bespin DLC is priced at $15. The game's season pass, which will entitle players with the four DLC packs released for the game, can be purchased for $50.
