'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC release date mid-September; Chewbacca coming

The newest "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC, titled "Death Star," seems to be interesting as attested to by fans, and with that said, it is possible for this DLC to be considered great based on the details disclosed about it so far.

According to Game N Guide, the newest DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront" should not be taken lightly, since EA DICE seems to plan for this game to reach new heights of success, and as such they are giving it all they got in order to ensure that the launch of the "Death Star" DLC will live up to the hype it garnered in the past months.

This means that the DLC will do its best to aim for a mid-September release date which will then be followed by an awesome treat, with EA DICE bringing forward its double score weekend. A lot of fans are expecting for this to start at September 23 and end on September 25. However, this "Death Star" DLC can only be grabbed early by purchasing the game's season pass, which costs $50. Getting this will not only give the "Death Star" DLC but also the "Outer Rim," "Bespin," and another undisclosed "Star Wars: Battlefront" expansion that will soon be released before the year ends.

Furthermore, according to the Ecumenical News, this new expansion pack will have a substantial addition in terms of content. Chief among these is the two new characters in Bossk, as well as fan-favorite Chewbacca, who will certainly bring more diversity to the gameplay with his special abilities.

Additionally, the new Battle Station mechanic will require players to engage a new mode that will have three different phases. With each phase, players will have completely different objectives to accomplish, and the outcome will depend entirely on which side the players will pick.
