Fans are as excited as ever for the approaching launch of "Star Wars: Battlefront II." New details have been emerging regarding the latest and improved features of the upcoming game. One recent detail, however, is probably what will excite fans the most: the inclusion of Emperor Palpatine.

As told by ComicBook.com, the emperor is one of the many characters from both the dark and the light side of the Force that players can control. Palpatine offers a very effective attack in the multiplayer-verse which makes him a very dangerous character to go up against, especially in close range.

Emperor Palpatine's area effect attacks are capable of eliminating groups of enemies in one go. Of course, he would not be Palpatine without having his very iconic Force lightning. The energy manages to channel from his hands, the outwards push is also his most basic attack and serves as the foundation for more effective special abilities.

He can also call on a dark aura made up of Force energy to not only shield himself, but increase the chances of contact damage towards anyone that dares to come near him. Apart from dealing contact damage, it can also slow down opponents. Another ability to note about for Palpatine is that he can effectively control and hold down groups of enemies by his powerful electrocution technique. This will result in incapacitating the enemy while making them vulnerable to taking a lot of damage.
