Developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are now building up the hype for the imminent release of "Star Wars: Battlefront." 

Fresh from their appearance at the recently-concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, reviews about the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" seems to be mostly positive. While it is true that fans of the franchise only saw bits and pieces of the massive multiplayer online title based on one of the most iconic franchises in pop culture history, what fans saw convinced them that the game is shaping up to be a title worth the wait. 

DICE and EA showed the console version of the title at this year's E3 convention. This week, however, the publisher chose to continuously whet hardcore fans' appetites by showcasing exclusive gameplay content from the PC version. 

Like the ones shown during the annual E3 event, the PC gameplay that were recently released were both shot on Tatooine and Hoth. Electronic Arts posted the first video on its official Facebook account, which is a footage from a single-player survival mission on Tatooine. Although the clip is only 35 seconds long, it showcases how fluid and visually pleasing the game will be, assuming the PC has the right specs. The video also shows how items picked up at the right time can help with the player's game, as exhibited by the character picking up a squad shield in order not to get overwhelmed. 

Meanwhile, another video cropped up online showing multiplayer gameplay on Hoth. The video is taken from YouTube user Darth Dio, who claims that the footage was originally from the same EA Facebook page before it was taken down. The video shows the player duking it out with Imperial soldiers, and requesting for X-wing support in the middle of the fight.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" will hit the shelves for the PC and current-gen consoles Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 17.
