'Star Wars Episode 7' plot rumors: Emails reveal Luke in hiding, suffering from mental torture

Disney has been tight-lipped on anything that relates to "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens." But despite strict contract rules that anyone working on the movie cannot leak any information, it appears that there are people who keep breaking them.

The recent leaked information comes from MakingStarWars.net. The owner of the site had received emails from an inside source who spilled a bunch of details about the movie's plot. However, the site owner did note that there's no certainty about the information given, but he wanted to share the spoilers with everyone anyway. If they come out to be true, then great.

One of the most important revelations in the emails is Luke Skywalker's story. There's no doubt that Luke has been one of the most loved characters in the film franchise. Only this time, he is walking on a different path.

According to the emails shown on MakingStarWars.net, Luke decides to exile himself due to his growing powers. He wants to protect everyone and deems that it will be best to just live far away. After which, he begins his new mission as the primary guard of the Ancient Sith Lord's tomb. However, the self-imposed exile and new mission aren't helping him at all.

It is said that Luke is suffering from "mental torture" as he protects the tomb. However, "Luke isn't crazy, so to speak, but he has felt the damaging effects this exile has had on him."

As for the fans' first look at Luke, it will be a shocker, too. The email described, "This Luke is wizened but crazed, his eyes twitch and are bloodshot, his robe is tattered, ripped and his beard is scraggy and his hair grey and long."

Meanwhile, there is also news about the Stormtroopers. The emails revealed that the troopers are more human-like now. In fact, there were actors cast for the role and they were given lines, too.

Further, there are two mega weapons in "The Force Awakens." In the Empire's side, it is the "super extreme Star Destroyer" which is now the largest ship in the fleet. How powerful is it? It can "split a planet in two," the source described. As for the Rebels, they have an EMT that can shut down the Imperial ships.

One can only know the truth when "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" launches on Dec. 18.
