There is currently a lot of hype for the upcoming second installment in the highly popular new "Star Wars" sequel trilogy, "Star Wars: Episode 8." The increased hype for the movie also comes with some questions regarding the possible events that will be featured in the next movie. Unfortunately, Disney has been keeping the production of the film under tight security and not much is really known about what will be featured in the next installment.

Due to the lack of any official announcements regarding the movie, numerous rumor reports and theories continue to proliferate online with each one giving out their different take on the possible events that will be transpiring.

One such rumor is of the possible plot that will be focused on in the next movie. A report from Movie Pilot speculates that the movie might revolve around Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, and his unrelenting search for Rey, played by Daisy Ridley. The son of Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford, and General Leia Organa, played by Carrie Fisher, will reportedly be on a quest to take back the lightsaber that was originally owned by Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill. Kylo apparently believes that the weapon rightfully belongs to him and that he should be the one to wield it instead of Rey.

As for other details about the movie itself, Hamill recently revealed how difficult it was to work with such secrecy as he and his fellow stars had to jump through several hoops to ensure that no information is leaked to the public.

"You get your pages in the morning, and they take them from you as you walk so they can shred them before it somehow leaks. You have security lines you have to walk through, both to and from set. And, not to mention, you have to wear these big monk hoods to protect your costume from drones," Hamill said as he shared his experience in a recent interview.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on Dec. 15, 2017.
