"Steven Universe" season 4 has been on hiatus for weeks. Fortunately for avid fans, the wait will end momentarily as Cartoon Network is set to launch episode 8, "Gem Harvest," on Nov. 17. It won't be paired with successive episodes, however, as the next expected Steven Bomb won't be until December.

"Gem Harvest" was initially going to be one of the earlier episodes released for season 4, but the episodes were jumbled and rearranged prior to release. This may have been done to avoid spoilers or to edit some of the stories. Because the episode had been pushed back so many times, many fans even presumed that it was fake and never going to air.

Cartoon Network finally proved that the episode is real and that it is going to release soon. A video preview was later uploaded on YouTube, showcasing what the episode is going to focus on. In the preview, Steven is seen going around a farm with Peridot and Lapis Lazuli.

Peridot and Lapis show Steven that they have a vegetable, a pumpkin, that had been brought to life. Unfortunately, it appears hostile and does not want to be friends with either of the Gems. Steven then reveals that he was the one that brought it to life and that it only wants to be close to him since it may be considering Steven as its parent.

The two gems then showcase another pumpkin but complain that it isn't lively and that it doesn't have a face. Steven then takes a spade and begins carving a face on it. The previous pumpkin, which is now sentient, finds these actions horrifying as if Steven was stabbing and killing its fellow pumpkin.

Disgusted by Steven's actions, the pumpkin then goes to Peridot and Lapis Lazuli but barks at Steven whenever he tries to get close.

"Steven Universe" season 4 episode 8 will air on Nov. 17.
