The new spoilers for the eighth episode of season 4 of "Steven Universe" points to the fact that Onion will become a major character for the current season. After all, the previous episode called "Onion's Gang" revealed that this minor character has a secret set of friends.

According to Movie News Guide, it seems that Onion would rather be friends with the Mutant Gems he is keeping in his basement rather than Steven and his companions. As seen in the previous episode, one of these mutants includes an African-American boy, as well as another boy who keeps a doll with him, and another kid who uses a metal pot as a hat.

As such, with the new episode getting released soon, a lot of fans are wondering what Onion's new friends will do. After all, the episode will be entitled "Gem Harvest," so it is pretty curious what these friends have anything to do with the supposed gem harvest.

As fans can remember, the episode title should have been for the sixth episode, but after it has been leaked online, Cartoon Network suddenly decided to change things up to surprise the show's fans.

As for the title's meaning, it is also speculated that the Gems are going to harvest Peridot. After all, it is rumored that for the Gems who do that are either corrupted or shattered gems, and as such aside from Peridot, they might also go for Jasper as well.

However, it is still all speculation up to this point, and if this is, in fact, the truth, Cartoon Network might be forced to pull out the episode in the last minute and replace it with something else.

"Steven Universe" is a highly successful cartoon and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and five Annie Awards as of date, according to Game N Guide. The cartoon is shown every Thursday on Cartoon Network at 7 p.m. EDT.
