The current season of "Steven Universe" is on a break, but details of where the story will branch out as season 2 continues are already floating online.

According to Movie News Guide, new teaser clips from the upcoming episodes have already made their way online and while they are short, the teasers provided some major details about the continuation. The industry follower mentioned that in one clip, called "Giant Fight," it can be seen that the Stevenmelons will make their return. Now, the tribe has a society of their own, and they also have their own wise elder.

The second teaser shows the return of Lapis Lazuli, Peridot, and Steven. In the video titled "Spaceship Smashdown," Lapis is now with the Crystal Gems, and the only thing that Lapis dotes on right now is Steven. The bond between the two steadily grows, as Lapis completely trusts Steven. Meanwhile, the clip also showcases Homeworld tech in the form of a tracker robot.

These teasers foreshadow upcoming events in the series, particularly the second one. The upcoming continuation may have fans see Steven finally convincing Lapis to join the Crystal Gems so that the two will be together more often. Meanwhile, the teasers also show that Peridot is slowly realizing that her continuing friendship with Steven is also changing her outlook on the Crystal Gems.

The clips also show that some characters will be making a comeback in the continuation of 'Steven Universe." Aside from the Stevenmelons, the new teaser clips show a fight between Malachite and Alexandrite. This footage seems to sum up the episode itself, as noted by iDigital Times. The fight between the two lasts three minutes, and seeing that each episode is only about 12 minutes long, the footage may already be considered a preview of the upcoming episode.
