"Steven Universe" season 4 is currently on a break, but it will reportedly be back in time to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with a half-hour special.

At the New York Comic-Con, where series creator Rebecca Sugar and the voice cast did a panel, it was announced that episode 8 of the series titled "Gem Harvest" will be released next month. There was no specific date mentioned, however.

Fans are quick to speculate that this "Steven Universe" season 4 installment will be a Thanksgiving special, which means that it will most likely premiere in late November.

While this is yet to be confirmed, it would make sense for the episode to be released at that time since the story has to do with harvest, which fits the holiday's theme.

This "Steven Universe" season 4 episode will follow Peridot and Lapis as they try their hands at farming to fight boredom while at the barn.

They think vegetables will grow like gems, but Steven told them that this won't be the case. Seeing them disappointed, he decided to "plant" a living pumpkin.

If "Gem Harvest" will be released as a Thanksgiving episode by the end of next month, this should make for the longest hiatus "Steven Universe" has ever had.

Looking at the show's history, its breaks usually last a month and a half. The latest "Steven Universe" season 4 episode, "Onion Gang," aired on Sept. 15. More than two months would have passed if the cartoon returns in late November.

The preview for the episode, however, also had a Halloween vibe to it, at least, based on the inclusion of jack-o'-lanterns, which are staples for the horror-themed festivity.

"Gem Harvest" will be followed by an episode titled "Three Gems and a Baby." It will feature a new Greg song titled "I Could Never Be Ready," which Sugar sang at the NYCC with the character's voice actor, Tom Scheuring.

It is believed to be a family-centered episode that might see flashbacks of Steven as a baby and Greg faced with the challenge of being a parent.

The "Steven Universe" season 4 episodes airing after that are reportedly titled "Tiger Philanthropist" and "Beach Shorts."
