"Stranger Things" star David Harbour has agreed to officiate a fan's wedding after she succeeded a Twitter challenge.

On Tuesday, a Twitter user named Ericka asked on the social media portal, "What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!"

The day after, she got her answer -- 125,000 re-tweets. That is provided that her wedding does not coincide with the shooting schedule for "Stranger Things" season 3. "I will get ordained and perform ceremony," Harbour responded. "I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece."

The 42-year-old actor underestimated the power of dreams and Twitter. Netizens quickly put to work. In less than 24 hours, Harbour's tweet not only surpassed the 125,000 re-tweets, but reached over 137,000, and counting. Even Ericka's initial Tweet was re-tweeted over 97,000 times.

"You're kidding me," tweets Harbour to Ericka and the rest of Twitter, in disbelief of how easily they overcame his challenge. He then asked the bride-to-be to send her a direct message to "get the ball rolling."

He also left a message for Twitterverse: "I'm making it seriously hard next time, Internet, this is not over between us."

This is not the first time Chief Jim Hopper granted a fan's wish through social media. Last October, another fan asked him how many re-tweets it would take to have him join her senior high school photo shoot. Harbour was much more lenient with this one, just 25,000 re-tweets of her request. He also wanted to wear a school sweatshirt and hold a trombone.

Twitter user Damaris reached more than that, too. Earlier this year, they finally got to take her dream photos. Harbour apparently also got to fulfill his goal in high school, when he was "voted most likely to hijack someone's high school senior photos 24 years later."
