In the coming new season of "Stranger Things" season 2, the main boys of the little town of Hawkins are going back to the lab that triggered it all. Meanwhile, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) is at the center of season 2.

Season 2 of "Stranger Things" will premiere this coming Halloween on Netflix, and it will resume on the stories of Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Noah, who will be experiencing the effects of being trapped in the Upside Down in season 1.

The season will also unfold where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has been hiding since she defeated the Demogorgon, and introduced new monsters from the Upside Down.

Deadline reports that the Mike, Dustin, and Lucas will be returning to the Hawkins Lab in season 2, which is Building A of the old Georgia Mental Health Institute in Atlanta.

In one of the days of filming, the site at Building A has bloodied zombies all over the place. What could that mean for the boys coming into the Hawkins Lab?

Meanwhile, season 2 will revolve around Will Byers.

In an interview with Mashable, director and executive producer Shawn Levy shares that although Schnapp's character was only present in season 1 for a short while, he will be at the core of season 2.

"We cast Noah Schnapp as Will Byers knowing that he was only in a small amount of Season 1 because he was missing. And we cast him because we knew that kid was special. Even if we weren't going to call on his full reservoir of abilities in Season 1, Will Byers is very much at the center of Season 2. Noah steps up in the most staggering way," Levy explains.

Levy also teases that series creators — The Duffer brothers — already have material for a third season if they ever get renewed.

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Oct. 31 on Netflix.
