It looks like fans might have to wait longer than expected to know what would happen to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and the gang, as per the revelation of David Harbour. Harbour, who plays Chief Jim Hopper in Netflix's sci-fi thriller series "Stranger Things," said that the show would air sometime in 2019.

The bad news was shared by Harbour in an interview with Variety, further explaining that the Duffer brothers needed more time to create the storyline. "Like, you probably won't get [Season 3] until sometime in 2019. But also part of the thing is, like any good thing, they need time. And those guys work so hard. I mean, they just sit in their apartment and write for 12, 14 hours a day," he said.

Harbour also acknowledged that it was an agony to wait, especially for the fans who have been hooked with "Stranger Things." The third season of the hit series had been confirmed even before the second run had been aired, much to the delight of the fans.

If that would be the case, it could be that another time jump is in order, especially since the cast, which consists mostly of kids, had been noticeably starting to grow older. "Stranger Things" season 2 also had a time jump, which was fitting as the cast had grown as well.

Aside from this, the delay could also be helpful to the cast who had been dealing with other projects as well. Some have ventured into other shows and movies, including Harbour who snatched a lead role for "Hellboy" and Brown who will be joining "Godzilla: King of Monsters."

Aside from "Stranger Things," there is another hit series that will not be gracing the small screens until 2019. Fans of "Game of Thrones" have also recently learned that the final season of the hit fantasy series will arrive year after the next.
