As "Stranger Things" season 3 is now confirmed, fans are still puzzled on who the real monster is in the Netflix series. As the Demogorgon and the Demodogs have been introduced and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is said to have a connection with the creatures from the Upside Down, there are theories that the said species and The Weirdo are only one.

In a YouTube video by Cracked.com, it claims that the Demogorgon is part of Eleven's psyche that she cannot control. In fact, one sign of it is the monster's name, which is a creature from the game "Dungeons and Dragons" that has two heads and split personalities.

The video lays all the possible signs that Eleven and the Demogorgon are only one. To recall, during the lab experiment in Hawkins National Laboratory, she found herself in a dark dimension and had a contact with a monster from the Upside Down.

So, there are theories that her subconscious and the Demogorgon might be a manifestation of her consciousness. In "Stranger Things" season 1 episode 1, Will (Noah Schnapp) even referenced "X-Men" No. 134, which happens to be the most important issue of the comics' story.

"I'll take your 'X-Men' 134!" he said. Here, Jean Grey's alter ego as Dark Phoenix has gone crazy and went on a killing spree. The video even revealed that the scene where Eleven threw the Demogorgon on the wall and turned themselves into ashes was derived from the comics itself.

In "Stranger Things" season 1 episode 6, Eleven told Mike (Finn Wolfhard) that she is the monster. "The gate, I opened it. I'm the monster," she said. And with her limited language skill, she might be having a hard time explaining the truth behind it.

Meanwhile, Netflix has already confirmed the coming of "Stranger Things" season 3. In fact, the Duffer brothers have revealed that they are now working on the next concept of the new installment.

However, nothing is made official yet about its storyline, but its creators earlier teased that there will be a time jump happening to adapt their growing lead stars. The upcoming third installment is expected to be out in 2018 on Netflix.
