Apart from the entrance of a new character in the person of Alex in "Street Fighter 5," the March update for the hit fighting game is additionally bringing in alternate costumes for the fighters.
Players who datamined the game files have discovered that there will be all sorts of new outfits for the characters, some of which are deemed downright outrageous by many.
The most eye-popping "Street Fighter 5" alternate look is that of Ken, who chopped off his iconic locks and opted for a dangerously short hairdo. Interestingly, Capcom chose to show off Birdie's luscious hair for his makeover.
Other notable ones include Nash, who is trading his orange flak jacket for a green and black ninja costume fit for his stealth skills and overall making him look cool, mysterious and fearsome.
Another exciting alternate costume to look forward to in "Street Fighter 5" is that of Zangief, which is inspired by Macho Man aka Randy Savage. Needless to say, the colorful costume works well for the always-shirtless big guy.
For his "Street Fighter 5" transformation, Rashid is losing his trench coat, shemagh and military pants for an Aladdin-inspired purple vest and green baggy pants.
R. Mika's second makeover in "Street Fighter 5" gives the warrior a mask with almost like a lucha libre style and hair shaped like a pair of wings.
The cherry on top has to be the red feather scarf. All together, her feathery outfit looks both chic for her style but still shows that she is someone not to trifle with. Check out the costumes for the rest of the characters on Reddit.
There's no word when these alternate costumes will be available but with the "Street Fighter 5" in-game store launching today, March 30, it is likely they will be offered there.
