Capcom has recently decided to officially postpone the beta testing for "Street Fighter 5."

Capcom's decisions comes on the heels of problems that continue to plague the beta testing for the game ever since it was first launched last July 23. Almost immediately after the beta kicked off, players started reporting having problems with it.

Some players indicated that they encountered issues when simply logging into the beta for "Street Fighter 5." Other players who did manage to log in were not excused from inconveniences as well, with some of them complaining about connectivity issues preventing them from being able to play the game properly, according to IGN.

In a statement posted on Capcom-Unity website, Capcom explained that the problems with the beta testing came from their servers being overloaded due to the sheer volume of users. With the problems not ceasing, Capcom eventually took down the problematic beta last July 26 and promised that they would extend the testing period to make up for the issues; but it seems the company has decided to simply halt the test altogether for now.

So far, Capcom has not given an official release date for when they will resume the beta testing.

The game's associate producer, Peter Rosas, also issued an apology on behalf of the game's developers for the failed initial beta testing for "Street Fighter 5." Rosas said that the team behind the game is now working on ensuring that the next beta test will go off without a hitch.

There are still some good news for players who pre-ordered "Street Fighter 5" with designs on trying out the beta test, as they will still have access to the next test, according to Gamespot.

It has also been announced that Capcom will give incentive to players who participated in the failed beta test, although is still unclear as to what incentive they will give.

As of now, three more beta tests are still scheduled for "Street Fighter 5."
