'Street Fighter 5' DLC: More content to be revealed 'throughout 2016'; single-player mode getting versus CPU mode

Guile makes his entrance in "Street Fighter 5"Capcom

Fans of the single-player mode in "Street Fighter 5" will be happy to know that a truckload of treats and content are about to come their way starting next month.

As what Capcom game producer Yoshinori Ono promised in a Game Informer interview (to be published in the May issue of the magazine), the team is working hard to enrich the "Street Fighter 5" experience for those who like to go solo.

Laying out Capcom's specific plans for offline "Street Fighter 5" players, Ono said that a versus CPU mode might be added as well as "new unannounced gameplay content," to be given away for free.

"We have huge plans in place for regular game updates that will contain enhancements and new content additions," Ono said as quote by EventHubs.

"Street Fighter 5 is an evolving platform that will continue to get more refined and built upon over time," he added. All that goodies, Ono promised, will trickle in "throughout 2016 and beyond."

Ono emphasized his gratitude to fans for their continued support and promised to repay this by heeding their concerns or feedbacks and bulking up the game with new content every now and then.

Capcom continues to keep its word and has been releasing updates and DLCs for "Street Fighter 5." The latest is new fighter Guile, who was added last April 28. The character comes with his famous Air Force Base stage.

Players can play as Guile for free until the "Street Fighter 5" marketplace arrives.  When it does, gamers will be asked to shell out real or in-game money to continue using the flat top-rocking military man.

Guile' classic Air Force Base stage, however, is now for the taking. Players can purchase it for 70,000 Fight Money. "Street Fighter 5" season pass holders get it for free.

The latest update to the game that aided the arrival of Guile also included tweaks to eliminate bugs and glitches, thus, improving the game experience.
