Capcom has been rumored to announce a new downloadable content (DLC) character, a new game mode and different stages for "Street Fighter V." Now, details about the fighting video game have been leaked online ahead of the game developer's planned announcement at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this week.

The pop culture event opens Thursday, Oct. 5. Capcom is scheduled to be at NYCC 2017's live stage to make the DLC announcement. However, the leak happened when a hard-core fan named X-Kira mined data from the game's codes, which revealed a lot of information about the upcoming DLC for "Street Fighter V."

X-Kira shared his discovery on YouTube and it quickly gained a lot of traction. The leak seemingly confirms previous reports that fan-favorite character Zeku would be added to the fighting game.

Aside from a new DLC character, two more slots for new outfits allotted for the fighters R. Mika and Akuma were discovered. Fans of the game can also anticipate a remake of classic stages for Urien and Birdie. On the other hand, new stages will be added for Kolin and Menat in the near future. A new mode that will allow players to go against a couple of characters all at once may also be coming to the game.

Other files that were data-mined have implied the possibility of an arcade mode for the game. This coincides with reports from fans that have recently spotted a game listing titled "Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition" on Amazon's website.

Once the upcoming DLC is launched, all of the new game content can be earned for free through the completion of different in-game challenges and winning in-game currency called fight money.

"Street Fighter V" was released in February 2016. It is available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 console and Microsoft Windows PC.
