'Street Fighter 5' update: Guile coming to the game this month with his own Air Force Base stage

Guile is officially the latest combatant to be added in "Street Fighter 5" and if anything, he still loves his killer flat top. Capcom has released a trailer showing off some of the moves of the devoted Air Force major.

Long-time "Street Fighter" fans will surely love Guile gracing the roster. He is among the original eight World Warriors. The following installments of the fighting game saw Guile with larger roles so it isn't much of a surprise to see him in "Street Fighter 5."

In the "Street Fighter 5" trailer featuring the character, Guile shows his minimal desire for chitchat and wants to get right into the action.

And while he keeps his flat top close and on point, he does trade his Armed Forces uniform for a white military button shirt, tie and dark blue military pants. To make him more at home, he is getting his classic Air Force Base (which costs 70,000 Fight Money) as his stage in "Street Fighter 5."

As how he always was in the "Street Fighter" realm, Guile arrives in "Street Fighter 5" with this unmistakable ability to have the upper hand on both air and land. For special moves, he has Sonic Boom and Somersault Kick.

Guile also gets a new technique called Faultless Move, where he is able to hunker down as he walks toward the enemy. Guile's V-Skill is the Sonic Blade, a stationary blast of sonic energy that "pressures" opponents and also boosts his Sonic Booms.

His V-Trigger is called Solid Puncher, where he throws a sucession of Sonic Booms to his opponents at various speeds. Guile's "most devastating attack" in "Street Fighter 5" had to be the Sonic Hurricane, which is practically a
"massive, multi-hit Sonic Boom."

"Guile is a great choice for those of you who are looking for a charge character who can easily control the pace of the match," Capcom writes on its blog.

Guile will be available for free later this month, but once the Zenny shop officially takes off, he'll get his own trials and story that fans of the warrior would not want to miss. Check out screenshots of Guile from "Street Fighter 5" here.
