The most recent addition to the roster of "Street Fighter V" is the iconic Guile. Speculations suggest that another veteran will be making a comeback, as Balrog the Boxer is said to be the next DLC character to be added soon.

MovieNewsGuide made the prediction, seeing that the recent character additions seem to be veteran "Street Fighter" characters from past franchise installments. In addition, the industry follower surmised that there might be additional stages to coincide with the new fighter, possibly a Las Vegas-style boxing arena.

Meanwhile, aside from adding a new character to the fighter roster, the next update will also tweak the game's features and gameplay. According to EventHubs, executive producer Yoshinori Ono told in an interview that adding another versus mode is more likely the next step. Ono adds that there are "... more new unannounced gameplay content for offline players that will be made available for free throughout 2016 and beyond."

The expansion content will keep on coming, Ono added, as publisher Capcom felt that the game's February release is a rushed job. The executive producer stated, "We were so excited to get the game in the hands of our fans, and we did our best to include as much content as we could for the February launch, but obviously some players expected more."

Ono promised that the content will keep on improving, and that the expected DLCs will not just add new content but build on existing ones, particularly with the fan feedback. "For those fans, all we can say is that we're working hard to address the concerns that have been voiced, and we have huge plans in place for regular game updates that will contain enhancements and new content additions," Ono added.

To date, at least two additional characters have been introduced since the game's launch, as previous DLC packs unlocked Alex and Guile as fighters.
