Publisher Capcom and developer Dimps are continuously building up the hype for the upcoming brawler title, "Street Fighter V." New details emerge about the upcoming installment, among them the addition of a veteran "Street Fighter" character and several special editions of the title.

According to the Capcom Unity blog, Dhalsim, who is considered one of the classic characters of the franchise, is the next added fighter for the "Street Fighter V" roster. Originally introduced in "Street Fighter II," Dhalsim will once again fight with his long-range limbs and fire-based attacks. Two new Yoga attacks will be introduced. There is the V-skill Yoga Float, where Dhalsim floats around for a few seconds and can initiate air-based combos, and V-Trigger Yoga Burner, where Dhalsim shoots out a stream of fire upon the enemy.

Aside from announcing Dhalsim as the new character addition, the post also mentions that post-launch content will be unlocked once "Street Fighter V" is released next year. Included in the expansion are at least six new characters, bringing a total of 22 playable characters by 2017. If the development of the expansion packs continues as scheduled, there will be at least two new characters every two months after the title launches.

Meanwhile, Attack of the Fanboy reports that there will be several special editions of "Street Fighter V" when the title releases next year. Some of the versions include the "Hot Package" edition, with Ryu and Chun-Li battle costume DLC as one of the added bonuses. There is also the Valuable Edition, including a Visual Book and Production Note, Character Guide DVD, and M. Bison and Cammy battle custom DLC, among other perks.

There is also the Volcanic Edition of the title, listed as currently the most expensive version of the game. To retail at $150, the pack includes the Hot Package perks, Valuable Edition bonus items, as well as more than 1000 in-game Zenny.
