"Street Fighter V" is expected to provide players with detailed stories about some of their favorite fighting game characters, and thanks to one tipster, people can now get an early idea of what these will be like.

Thanks to a recent post by NeoGAF user Scotia, fans can now learn more about some of the character stories that will be featured in "Street Fighter V."

In the post, Scotia revealed details about the character stories of certain characters, including one of the entirely new additions in Necalli.

According to the post, Necalli is shown in the game with a weird ability, with that being his unique skill that allows him to absorb warrior's souls. It's unclear if Necalli's story focuses more on him pursuing a particular warrior's soul, although that added wrinkle could lead to him being depicted as one of "Street Fighter V's" most potent forces.

Scotia also revealed more about Rashid's storyline inside the game. Rashid is yet another entirely new character being introduced in "Street Fighter V," and his story in the game is, apparently, more focused on his search for a missing friend.

The revelations regarding Necalli and Rashid in particular are interesting since the "Street Fighter V" development team essentially have blank slates to work on for both, although they are not the only characters getting detailed backgrounds in the upcoming game.

In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, "Street Fighter V" associate producer Peter Rosas revealed that each character would have a personalized storyline that focuses on the reasons behind why they fight.

Capcom is also doubling down on their storyline content offerings in the upcoming fighting game by announcing that a cinematic story expansion is in the works. The expansion is expected to focus on although other characters will also be involved.

The cinematic expansion will be released in June, and it will also be available for free to all players.

"Street Fighter V" will be released on Feb. 16.
