Every "Street Fighter" game since "Street Fighter II - The World Warrior" has a short but sweet opening cinematic and the one for the upcoming "Street Fighter V" has been released, as per IGN. The video is quite short, being under 40 seconds total, but it does reveal a few hints of the upcoming game.

As stated by GameRant, the opening cinematic was first presented during the PlayStation Experience in San Francisco earlier this month. The report also states that the opening cinematic reveals all of the new characters, although it is possible the game will still have a few secret hidden characters.

The video starts with series' main protagonist Ryu contemplating and preparing for battle before it switches to a group of fighters facing off against M. Bison, leader of Shadoloo. Amongst the fighters are Ken Masters, Chun-Li, and Cammy. These are all recurring characters in the franchise and are expected to star in the game's main campaign.

Newcomers Rashid and F.A.N.G. are then introduced. F.A.N.G. is seen coming into the frame with his blue wisps while Rashid counterattacks. Unfortunately, newcomer Laura Matsuda, the elder sister of Ken's protege Sean, is nowhere to be seen in the opening cinematic.

Ending the video is the introduction of newcomer Necalli. Necalli appears in his enraged form, dropping down to attack Ryu. Ryu is able to dodge and his eyes glow red, hinting that he may yet use his "Satsui no Hado" or dark powers to fight back. It is also speculated to be a part of his V-Gauge capabilities.

The video then ends with the "Street Fighter V" logo and marks glowing on Necalli's face and body. Fans point out that some of the flashing lights are green and white, perhaps hinting at Laura's inclusion.

"Street Fighter V" will release exclusively for the PS4 and PC on Feb. 16 2016, with no Xbox One port in the works.
