Capcom has just released more details about the story mode that will be featured in "Street Fighter V."

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Capcom associate producer Peter Rosas shared some details about the kind of story mode the upcoming fighting game would offer.

According to Rosas, each character in the game will be given his/her own unique storyline that players can learn more about.

Capcom also acquired the services of Japanese artist Bengus in order to create the illustrations that would be needed to properly tell the story of each and every "Street Fighter V" character.

On top of the character-specific illustrations that players can unlock, Capcom will also be releasing a cinematic story expansion that will dive deeper into the lore of "Street Fighter V."

The new expansion will feature cutscenes set during the time period between "Street Fighter III" and "Street Fighter IV." The cinematic expansion will also focus on both M. Bison and Shadaloo.

The good news for prospective "Street Fighter V" players is that the cinematic expansion will be released as a free update. It is currently scheduled to be released in June, although more details about it should be revealed prior to then.

Capcom has also given players a more detailed explanation on how Fight Money can be earned inside "Street Fighter V."

For those who may not know, Fight Money is the currency that will be used to purchase DLC for the game, and it cannot be acquired using real world money.

Instead, players will be able to get their hands on "Street Fighter V's" Fight Money by completing arcade and survival modes using different characters, according to IGN. Players can also earn Fight Money by ranking up the game's many characters.

There will also be daily missions made available inside "Street Fighter V" starting in March, and completing those will also net players Fight Money.

"Street Fighter V" will be released on Feb. 16.
