Strictly Come Praying for Scotland's Youth

Scripture Union Scotland is holding a special day of prayer for the country's young people designed to engage dedicated young Christians in prayer for non-Christian youths and help them overcome their own prayer hurdles.

Strictly Come Praying will see hundreds of young Christians from across Scotland gather in Falkirk for the event on March 18.

Scripture Union Scotland will guide the event participants through a number of seminars and workshops, as well as teaching, praise and drama, to help young Christians turn the Bible into living prayer.

The events will also help the participants learn more about dealing with distractions in prayer, praying in public, organising a prayer group in their schools, and dealing with guilt about their (lack of) prayer times.

A Q&A session will take place during the day to tackle any remaining difficult prayer questions while multi-sensory prayer stations will give the participants the opportunity to try out their fresh prayer skills.

Scripture Union Scotland is inviting young Christians to bring their school or church groups to join in the event - the first of its kind from SUS.

The event has been organised in conjunction with Care, Firestarters, Youth for Christ, Urban Saints, Pray for Scotland and iMPACT.
