As reported here on Christian Today, Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, may appear in a short cameo in "Suicide Squad." According to the rumor, he will be seen as a prisoner held captive by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Now, a new report indicates that the superhero might be facing a massive DC villain. 

According to a report from Heroic Hollywood, Aquaman gets captured and placed in a special facility ran by Amanda Waller, where Suicide Squad members such as Deadshot (Will Smith) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) are also imprisoned. His trident then falls into Waller's possession. Aquaman's capture is said to happen after his battle against a massive super villain. 

The villain, according to the report, is referred to as the King of Sharks, a possible clue that this villain could be Nanaue a.k.a. King Shark, one of Aquaman's regular foes in the comic books. King Shark is a humanoid shark with super strength, razor sharp teeth, and super stamina. He is often referred to as either a freak mutation or the son of the Shark God. 

The report also states that the fight between King Shark and Aquaman might not even be featured in the film but instead might just be implied, showing only the aftermath and focusing on both characters as prisoners. 

It is said that there will also be a break-out sequence toward the end of the film, possibly of the Joker escaping from prison, and this might be how Aquaman breaks out as well as he will be a major player in "Justice League: Part One."

According to a previous report from Cinema Blend, actor Raymond Olubowale was rumored to play a character referred to as Shark for "Suicide Squad," but this has neither been confirmed nor denied by the actor or by Warner Bros.

"Suicide Squad" is scheduled to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
